Yes, it's happening - the eighth annual Children's Christmas Faire at the Sun Haven Waldorf School. It has always been the community's opportunity to kick off the holiday season and truly share in the Christmas spirit, with activities ranging from old-fashioned candle dipping to walks through the magic cookie house.

This Sunshine Coast family event is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This year we will be showcasing many talented entertainers along with one of the best story telling artists in Canada - The Green Man! He has studied at UCLA and is a graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His stories are positive, infectious, Irish mythical tales that capture children's attention and leave them smiling every time. Check out videos and pictures on-line at www.thegreenmanproject.ca.

So come join with other Sunshine Coast families and celebrate this festive season at this special Christmas event that children look forward to year after year. While holding true to many of our beloved traditions, we are also stretching out our imagination and introducing some great new ideas and activities. Be prepared for a total transformation of the school and its grounds into a magical winter wonderland with delicious food, a craft marketplace, children's activities and much more! Bring your friends, family and neighbours to attend and experience the Christmas magic.

The school is located at Camp Douglas on Beach Avenue at Margaret Road in Roberts Creek. See more at www.sunhavenschool.com.
