Crash the Coast smashes its fundraising record (In photos)

The Gibsons Fire Department brought in the most cash, with just over $16,000

For once it wasn't sirens or an emergency that had first responders stopping traffic Dec. 4 but a fundraiser for the Elves Club. From Pender Harbour to Gibsons, fire departments, SAR and RCMSAR stations raised just over $30,000 for the Elves Club while a telethon at the same time brought the weekend’s haul into just under $40,000.
