Community Treasures Thrift Shopat 731 North Road in Gibsons (formerly the Gibsons Thrift Shoppe), is asking you to clean out your closet, finish your spring cleaning, and donate your used merchandise for a great cause.
All proceeds will be used to support programs operated by Sunshine Coast Community Services Society, who now own and operate the store.
Community Treasuresaccepts new or gently used items including clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, books, records and CDs, small household items, toys, sporting goods, and furniture.
Drop off small item donations in Sechelt at the Sunshine Coast Community Services office (5638 Inlet Avenue) or in Gibsons at Farnham Family Place (624 Farnham Road). Contact the store to make arrangements for furniture pick-up 604-886-2811. Although the shop is closed while undergoing renovations, all donations will be gratefully accepted in preparation for their grand opening on April 14.
