Bring your telescope night

If you have a telescope and don't know how to use it or are thinking of buying one, come to the next meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society.

If you have a telescope and don't know how to use it or are thinking of buying one, come to the next meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society.

The society's experienced astronomers can help you learn how to assemble your scope and show you how to use it, or give you some good advice on which scopes are best for a beginner. A simple telescope can get the most out of observing the night sky this fall and winter.

The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt. Everyone is welcome.
