The Booty Camp Girls completed the Woman2Warrior Challenge on Sunday, May 25, helping to raise $1,500 for the BC Easter Seals Camp.

There were 400 women warriors who participated with a total of $158,220 raised overall to help send children and young adults with cognitive and physical disabilities to summer camp and offer them the chance to discover their individual abilities.

As warriors, the Booty Camp Girls had to lift, climb, crawl, jump, run, walk and get a little wet and dirty in order to conquer the five kilometres of trails and track around Burnaby Central Park and Swangard Stadium.

“We want to thank the Sunshine Coast Kinsmen Club, Bob Hoy and the staff from IGA (Gibsons and Wilson Creek), Sunshine Coast Cupcakery and the generous community members who came to our garage sale, paid by donation and donated refundable bottles,” said Booty Camp Girls spokesperson Rachel Griffiths. “Thank you for helping us to pay it forward. We couldn’t have met our fundraising goal without your support.”
