The Sunshine Coast is a romantic destination by nature, and is the scene of countless carefully planned date nights, marriage proposals and amorous memories for many couples, particularly at Valentine's Day.
In anticipation of Valentine's Day, and in celebration of expressions of love, the Sechelt Downtown Business Association (SDBA) is holding the second annual "Kiss on the Coast" photo contest, and awarding a romantic Valentine's Day prize package to the couple with the winning photo. The winner's package includes dinner, flowers, and a one-night stay at the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. Runner-up prizes will also be awarded.
Photos must be taken within the boundaries of the SDBA - see the map on the website at www.secheltdowntown.com. Photos must be emailed to the SDBA by Tuesday, Feb. 12. All accepted photos will be posted in an on-line gallery on the SDBA website, and the winning couple will be notified on Thursday, Feb. 14.
