After weeks selling at Davis Bay Farmers' Market, students raise almost $1,400 for Ukraine relief

Over the last few months Grade 4, 5, 6 students of Davis Bay Elementary School have been hard at work planting, caring for, and selling sunflower seedlings and handmade watercolour cards as a fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and their efforts in Ukraine.
C. Davis Bay Elementary Ukraine Fundraiser

Over the last few months, Grade 4, 5, 6 students of Davis Bay Elementary School have been hard at work planting, caring for, and selling sunflower seedlings and handmade watercolour cards as a fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and their efforts in Ukraine.

We raised an incredible $1,380.75!

I wanted to thank the Davis Bay and Sunshine Coast communities for all of their support, as well as the Davis Bay Farmers’ Market for letting us have a table.

I also wanted to commend the students who put so much effort forward to have a positive impact on global issues. Our fundraising efforts couldn’t have been possible without our incredible and thoughtful volunteer Grace Lewis. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
