On Saturday, July 26, the village of Lund will host live music, food and art vendors, for Lund Daze, happening from 3 pm onward, at the Lund gazebo.
Hop on the Texada Island ferry Sunday, July 27, for the annual Texada Annual Fly-In, taking place at the Texada Island/Gillies Bay Airport. Check out skydivers, flight demos and a car, plane and bike show and shine.
Texada Island Sandcastle weekend usually takes place in July, however, due to the lowest tide of the season taking place next month, Sandcastle weekend will happen August 9 and 10, at Gillies Bay.
Don't forget, the 44th annual Sunshine Music Festival takes place on the Labour Day long weekend, August 30 and 31, at Palm Beach Regional Park. Tickets can be found at sunshinemusicfest.ca/tickets.
