Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of Oct. 13!
Computer kisses to Aaron in the computer department at London Drugs for helping me find an inexpensive and permanent solution to my computer problem. You are an asset to London Drugs!
Kisses to Dr. S. Reznick! Sometimes you’re lucky enough to have a doctor who is brave, kind, super duper smart and has a heart of solid gold. Thank you!
Sending love to Domino’s Pizza in Gibsons for bringing leftover pizzas to Gibsons Housing on School Road! Everyone appreciates and enjoys the extra munchies so much. – Gibsons Raincity Housing Program
Bouquets of kisses to Tia at RONA and Dave for their help when we broke down Labour Day weekend on our way to Powell River. The SSC really shines because of people like you!
A single rose of a smooch for the man on the giant hill near RONA who had enough oil so we made it to RONA. Thankful for this “not an island vibe.”
75 gold star kisses to Gibsons London Drugs for their generous donation to allow NLCC Kenneth Grant # 204 to purchase 210 Christmas cards to send to the crew of a deployed ship.
Kicks to the person who ripped down our “No Go 2 Connor Park Hall” sign, broke it in half and threw it in the ditch. Your lack of tolerance for free speech and disregard for the environment speaks volumes.
Ongoing kicks to the bureaucrats that have had 25 years to either build a safe by-pass route, or do major Highway 101 upgrades and provide reliable two ferries for our marine highway. Zero results! Now add the doctor shortage and neglected water crisis.
An ambulance full of kisses to the paramedics who came to the aid of my husband after he fell down the stairs. Monstrous hugs to Harvie, Julianne and the table tennis group at Harmony Hall for support. His broken shoulder and arm continue to mend.
All the kisses to Gibsons IGA for so graciously facilitating our U16 Storm Girls rep. soccer fundraiser. Also thank you to the community for being so generous. The money we raised will go towards tournaments and team travel in the future.
Celebrating the idiocracy that tailgates me on Lower Road, thank you for reminding me to slow down and enjoy the view.
