Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of August 16!
Big kisses to a very kind person and the staff of the SPCA after our sweet doggie went a wandering. After a sleepless night, our son and his aunt and uncle headed to the SPCA and sighed when they clapped their eyes on our dear doggie! Thank you!
Biggest hugs to Nicole for picking me up off the pavement at Independent Grocers on July 30 after I fell literally on my face. Plus another lady who came to my rescue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Kisses to Bill & Marilyn at Strait Music! 15 years of expert music and event ticket sales, plus generosity for community good will not be forgotten.
Sincere thanks to everyone on July 22, who were concerned for me, who extended respite, who was open that late night, and the driver of the No. bus 1 at 10pm to Gibsons.
Appreciative kisses to Hope and Leona at Ambulatory Care for your persistent courage, skills and humour!
Kicks to people using Cascade Green Park as off-leash dog park. According to District of Sechelt’s list of off-leash dog parks in the area, Cascade Green Park is not one.
Kicks to the person who posted the kick about having to pay 25 cents for a bag. If they had done their homework they would know that the bag fee was mandated by the province just weeks ago.
Heartfelt kitty kisses for Dr. Rachael Spence and the team at Sechelt Animal Hospital for their tireless care and support of not only their animal patients, but human owners as well. When our kitty, Loki, had to be brought on a very busy afternoon, they graciously accepted him and gave the best treatment anyone could ask for.
Kisses to Zack (of Zack’s Appliance Services) for hand-delivering my lost wallet to my home. I had, unknowingly, left it on the roof of my car when driving away from the London Drugs parking lot. He found it and it was back in my hands two hours after I realized it was missing.
Kicks to all the people causing a commotion in Raven’s Cry Theatre during the Deadpool screening. Talking during the movie ruins the experience for everyone else.
Kisses to Tammy & Jeff at Wildlife Rescue for their exemplary dedication and support as well as Dean, our Halfmoon Bay conservation officer! They came to the rescue for a doe who had become tangled in wires left carelessly in a yard. How lucky are we to have them!
