Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of May 10!
- Kisses to Simon K and all his crew for the ethical way you work, much appreciated. Well done.
- Kicks to the SUV with Saskatchewan licence plates. In B.C. we stop at all marked crosswalks and also full stop at stop signs. Enjoy your stay but drive safe.
- Kisses to the garbage man for not leaving the empty can in the middle of the driveway.
- Kicks to the small black VW who tailgated me at 80 km an hour all the way to Sechelt. Next time I’ll do a full stop.
- Kicks to the owners of two border collie type dogs who claim her dogs are friendly and won’t leash them
- Thanks to the gentleman who found my wallet in the middle of the highway near the Independent. It must have fallen out of my pocket and ridden on the step-side rail of my truck for ways before falling off. I noticed it missing when I went to fill up with gas. After hours of stress and retracing my steps unsuccessfully, it was truly a relief when you showed up at our home with my wallet. Thank you and forever grateful!
- Kisses to the many thoughtful drivers who take the time to give vulnerable road users the legally required 1.5 metres.
- Kicks to whoever defaced trees, rocks and playground equipment in Whispering Firs Park. Spray painting Mother Nature is sadly, a new low in vandalism.
