Here are your kisses and kicks for the week of May 30!
- Kisses and heartfelt thanks to Anne and Chelsea who manager the front office at Pender Harbour Dental who wrangle the patients for a busy office and do an excellent job all the time, often going the extra mile for the patients. My thanks for all the help they’ve given me.
- Kisses to the kind gentleman who paid for my groceries at SuperValu on May 22. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your act of kindness. I had walked to the store and discovered at the checkout that I had forgotten my wallet. The cashier was going to set aside my groceries while I walked back home.
- Kicks to all those drivers who feel that East Porpoise Bay Road is a race track. There is a reason that 50 kilometers is the speed limit. We frequently have our precious wildlife crossing the road!
- Watery kisses to Graham and Anthony for all their splashingly good work and to Norma for her kindness in sharing her pool. From a happy mermaid.
- Kicks to the drivers who give 1.5 signals before turning off the main highway. You’re endangering all of us.
- Kisses to all the employees at Canadian Tire… you all work endlessly to help customers and keep the store an awesome place to shop.
- Kicks to the lady in the black Ford Escalade May26 at 9:30 a.m. who pulled out in front of us on the 101 in Roberts Creek. We doing 80km and you doing zero? Lucky for you I had room to move over or you would have been rear-ended.
- Neat and tidy kisses to the staff at BC Ferries’ Earls Cove Terminal. Travelled through in late May and everything appeared so clean and well maintained, including the washrooms! Not a lick of litter anywhere in sight. Staff were cheery, helpful and had everything in their control running on time. Thanks!
- Tire rolling kisses to Sean at KalTire for the kind and professional help.
- Kisses to libraries for having so many community-building resources and for investing in audiobooks.
