Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!
Kisses & Kicks
Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of December 8!

  • Kisses to all of the shoppers who take the time to put their SuperValu receipts and/or food donations into the St. Bart’s Food Bank donation bin in the Sunnycrest Mall!  Every item helps someone in need!
  • A million unending kisses to the dear young lady, who, on  Nov. 19, not only paid for my purchase at Clayton’s, she ran after me to give it to me, l had left my wallet at home.  l will pay it forward.
  • High Fives to Rusty Cranks power forward, Bob Marando on scoring two goals on his 83rd Birthday!
  • Kicks to the neighbour that posts about their neighbour’s lights being on! Maybe she can’t sleep because she can’t shake the gross feeling that she’s being watched! Aren’t “coasters” supposed to be nice!
  • A chair full of kisses to Anthony of the Brick who drove to Garden Bay from Gibsons on his day off to repair a pair of electric recliners that decided to conk out at the same time and were already past their warranty. Customer service at its finest!
  • Kisses to the amazing emergency staff at Sechelt Hospital – kind, caring, and fixed up my broken wrist like a well-oiled team. Big shout out to Dr. Paul Dhillion as well.
  • Warm Winter Kisses to all who donated so generously to the Realtor Blanket Drive. Thanks for helping your community.
  • Kisses and thanks to Heidelberg Aggregates for lighting up the lovely star up in the mountain. It is much appreciated.
  • Kisses to Coastal Community Grants Program and SuperValu for the grant towards the Christian Life Assembly Lunch Love program for lunches for the Gibsons Alternate School.
  • Kisses to Mark and Maureen for searching for my prescription sunglasses all the way from Pratt to Gospel Rock three times over two days.
  • Kisses to the person who found my prescription sunglasses near Gospel Rock and put them on the fence. I happened to look up at just the right moment and saw them.
  • Wheelbarrows full of kisses to Lorenzo at Quality Farms for always providing super service with a smile to everyone who enters – including the four-legged customers!
