Fab Fabric and 3D Art

The Gibson Public Art Gallery’s new exhibition is Between the Layers, by the 16 members of the Sunshine Coast Surface Design Group. Among the dozens of excellent works are Three Female Titans, life-sized robe-like creations in papier mâché and mixed media by Penny Connell; Connected, in red and blue hand-dyed merino wool and silk, by Alexis Bach; and Different Points of View by Pat Crucil, in paper cubes with lino prints and watercolour. The show runs to July 5. Social distancing guidelines allow six people in the gallery at a time.
