Coast Academy of Dance students qualify as teachers

The Coast Academy of Dance and Performing Arts is happy to announce the success of their senior students: Jessica Schweighardt, Bronte Hansen and Alyssa Rive.

Jessica, Bronte and Alyssa have successfully passed their Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Modern Teaching Certificate, which is a dance teaching qualification that is recognised all around the world. They have been students at the dance studio since they were very young and have been part of the Pre-Professional Program for the past three years.

Bronte has also passed her ISTD Ballet Teaching Certificate.

Bronte and Alyssa are now members of the dance faculty at the Coast Academy and Jessica has been employed to teach at a large school in Vancouver. The Academy is extremely proud of them all, and would also like to congratulate all of the younger students, who passed their ISTD exams in ballet, tap, modern and jazz.

What incredibly talented and hard-working dancers!
