Last week Carrie Tuplin brought two horses and two goats to Chatelech Secondary School – not your typical sight on the athletic fields! This was an animal therapy experience for the Fitness and Active Leisure Class (grade 11/12) to offer the students a chance to learn a bit about animal care. The students thought it was “awesome” and are interested in visiting Tuplin’s property on a weekly basis to work with the animals as part of their wellness program.
