Car Club drives to make a difference

The Coaster’s Car Club presented Sechelt Hospital Foundation with a cheque for $6,312 from their 2019 Show & Shine. Proceeds will go to the area of greatest need at Sechelt Hospital’s Ambulatory Care Unit. Bob Hoy, owner of Wilson Creek and Gibsons IGA (left), who contributed $2,000, is pictured with Jane Macdonald of the Hospital Foundation, and James Taylor, Jim Gass and Ken Begg of Coaster’s Car Club. The group of car enthusiasts and community supporters has contributed over $40,000 to support Sechelt Hospital Foundation over the past 12 years.
