There are often sweet furkids in need of a permanent or foster home. Many folks have come to me wanting to adopt a pet. There are many very good adoption organizations such as ElderDog Sunshine Coast, Thank Dog I Am Out, Big and Small and Raincoast Rescue, all with wonderful dogs in need of a forever home. The BCSPCA has moved forward and away from having a lot of animals to be adopted. Many of you have voiced your disappointment. Explore the other rescues and non-profit organizations. For those adopting for the first time, please note the process of adopting can be intense, slow, with detailed paperwork, a home inspection and adoption fees. Patience is a requirement.

Thanks to all for observing, reporting and staying vigilant during very challenging times. The return to our much-loved peaceful paradise is underway! Contact me with your news at for the Friday edition of the Coast Reporter.
