Calling his driving record ‘egregious,’ a Vancouver judge fined a man $500 for speeding on West 4th Avenue while prohibited from driving.

Vancouver Provincial Court Judge Nancy Adams said Bradley Javed Bennett’s driving infractions covered the scope of B.C.’s Motor Vehicle Act.

She cited a record of driving while prohibited, speeding, driving in a bus lane, driving without due care and attention, failing to produce a licence, driving without a licence and road-side prohibitions.

“You are a danger to others,” Adams told Bennett, suggesting he do something about his situation.

The court heard Bennett had been travelling at more than 100 km/h on a motorcycle on West Fourth with a passenger.

Court records show charges from Abbotsford, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley, Surrey and Vancouver.

Bennett’s 26-entry court file shows files dating back to 2013.
