Damp days return to the lower Sunshine Coast as we hit the mid-May mark.  Today, May 15, Environment Canada's call is for clouds this morning with a 60 per cent chance of showers late this morning and this afternoon in the Sechelt area. That forecast is for a high of 13 degrees C today, and only 10 degrees tomorrow; well below the national weather service's reported average high point of 17 degrees, per its website.

Weatherhood is showing cloudy skies for the full 24 hours to come, with anticipated rain volumes of 6 millimetres (mm) today, 8 mm tomorrow and 16 mm on Saturday.

Saturday marks the 80th "May Day" celebration in Pender Harbour. Although there is some precipitation called for, likely during the morning hours, daytime highs are expected (by both weather sources) be on the rebound, reaching 13 to 15 degrees. No matter what the weather conditions, May Day is always fun-filled. Take a look at the events Facebook page,(facebook.com/MayDayMadeiraPark) for details.Coast Reporter will be there, will you?
