Sunshine Coast weather: Clouds with a chance of showers

The national weather service and Weatherhood both forecast a highs today at the 16 to 17 degree C mark and overnight lows of 12 to 13 degrees.

Cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers later in the morning hours of June 26 is what Environment Canada.is calling for on the lower Sunshine Coast. That authority is citing that winds will be on the increase early today, reaching 20 kilometres per hour before midday.

As for temperatures, the national weather service and Weatherhood both forecast a highs at the 16 to 17 degree C mark and overnight lows of 12 to 13 degrees.

Similar conditions, are in store for Friday.  Saturday should see those in our area singing "Here Comes the Sun" as skies are slated to start clearing and moving to full on sunny days through to Tuesday, July 1, for Canada Day celebrations.
