Great sunny weather prevailed for the opening day of the Sunshine Coast Women’s Soccer League (SCWSL) on Sunday, Sept. 23.
There are six teams made up of players from Gibsons to Pender Harbour, ranging in age from 19 to 60+. All six teams play with a fun attitude and with a goal for fitness and making beautiful plays.
This year the league is hosting open soccer practices on Wednesday evenings at Ted Dixon Park. Women who are not currently on a team are welcome to come out and give it a try.
