The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had 14 of their STAR/Competitive skaters attend the 2019 BC/YT Section SuperSeries Vancouver Island competition, April 5 to 7, in Parksville. The group was awarded a total of eight golds and four silvers along with one new Personal Best Score. The club’s skaters will be finishing off a four-week spring session at the Sechelt rink and then travelling off-Coast throughout May, June and July to keep their skills honed and prepare for summer competitions and schools.
