Lucy Watson lit up the rink with her performance in Chilliwack Oct. 20 at the 2019 Belaire Direct BC/YK Section Autumn Leaves Super Series Competition.
Lucy won the gold medal, placing first in the Juvenile Ladies U14 category.
“The club is extremely proud of her performance and achievement. Hard work pays off,” the Sunshine Coast Skating Club said in a release.
This is Lucy’s second competition in the Super Series for the year. She previously won the bronze medal at 2019 Belaire Direct BC/YK SummerSkate Competition in Vancouver.
Lucy and Cooper Jones will represent the Sunshine Coast Skating Club at the 2019 Belaire Direct BC/YK Skate Canada Sectionals (Provincial) Super Series in Kelowna Nov. 7 to 10.
