Editor:
Let me see, Bill C-51 has been deemed as poor and even dangerous legislation by a significant number of respected individuals. They include four former prime ministers, five former Supreme Court justices, seven former solicitors general and ministers of justice, three past members of the intelligence review committee, two former privacy commissioners, a retired RCMP watchdog and a large number of legal experts (the Canadian Bar Association, the BC Civil Liberties Association), to name a few.
Our member of Parliament John Weston likes the legislation.
Who should we believe?
