I read with dismay about the decline in pool use in Gibsons and Sechelt, particularly by children (“Projected $50K deficit for recreation centres,” Nov. 5). Parents, if we don’t make use of this community resource, we will lose it. What are your children doing on the weekends? If they’re staring at a screen, perhaps it’s time to go for a swim.
