In a letter to Coast Reporter of June 5 (“Setting the record straight”), Blue Ocean Golf Club general manager Barrie McWha stated that nothing further on the golf course and landscaping would proceed without an “assured supply of reclaimed water for irrigation, and the plan is that it would come from the Water Resource Centre.”

Was this a condition of purchase? Were other obligations made, perhaps in one of the “in camera” meetings disclosed in the Auditor General for Local Government’s report? Is Sechelt liable for penalty if any agreements are broken? Does the $3.1 million in our 2015-16 budget for straightening Trail Avenue have anything to do with a pipeline to the Blue Ocean Golf Club?

What else have we not been told? Someone needs to do some “splainin.” Soon, very soon!
