As a member of Pender Harbour Legion Branch No. 112 and Pender Harbour Pipe Band, I would like to congratulate you on the pictorial coverage you gave to the Legion's Burns Night celebrations in your Jan. 27 edition.
It was a pleasure to meet and talk to your photographer, Justin Samson, and his pictures seemed to perfectly capture the spirit of the evening, which seemed to be very much enjoyed by all present.
His presence at the event - a surprise in itself - presumably came about as a result of a news snippet submitted to Rose Everett's Harbour Highlights column in the community section of your paper, and therefore shows the importance of using such an "information highway."
