Just a friendly reminder for all motorists to share the road with cyclists. It is greatly appreciated when you slow down and give cyclists a wide berth when going around them. We usually have to ride our bikes near the white line, as even when there is a bike lane, it is usually too full of gravel and cracks to safely ride in. It is unfortunate that the bike lanes do not get cleaned and swept more often, but that has been the state of the roads on the Coast for many years.
As cycling becomes more popular, we continue to see more riders on the road. Taking a few more seconds to slow down and go around a rider can ensure their safety and enjoyment. We all thank you.
