Please explain to me, Mr. Corrigan, why B.C. ferries cannot facilitate discounted rates for B.C. residents who rely on B.C. ferry services to accommodate their day-to-day needs as opposed to your discretionary travellers. I realize that we who rely on ferry service have a minor discount available to us. But obviously from the feedback you are receiving, this is not adequate. To live and work in a ferry-reliant community with ferry residential reductions would enhance all economic needs for growth and prosperity in ferry-reliant communities. I just don’t get the problem.
