I am writing regarding the outdoor art galleries project article published on May 16.
I’d like to make a clarification regarding the Gibsons Public Art Gallery (GPAG) portion of that article. My intention was to say we will “hopefully” be working with the gallery. No formal arrangement currently exists between Outdoor Art Galleries and GPAG. While we had a very positive meeting with a GPAG director, the process of defining a relationship is still ongoing.
I apologize to the board of GPAG if my comments caused any confusion or inconvenience and look forward to establishing a mutually beneficial arrangement with this outstanding public gallery in the near future.
