How would neighbours feel about very gentle speed bumps on Lower Road between Woodley and Joe Road in Roberts Creek?
Not severe bumps, but softer ones like the ones that are throughout the residential neighbourhoods in Portland, and a little softer than the ones right here on the Coast on South Fletcher in Gibsons.
Just enough to take away the temptation for some individuals to floor it down the straight away like dragsters. Just a few with a warning sign that they are there. Just enough to keep things a little more friendly.
Why not, children, adult walkers, dogs and driveways let alone quiet from the cars revving up will appreciate the relief. And no more speeding tickets from the police. Once up on the highway go ahead and pick up the pace. I do not want controversy. I do not want an argument. I am not stuck on this idea, just asking if anyone else cares or has any ideas.
