What is this confusing nonsense about $100 bylaw fines regarding the South Coast Ford sign not conforming to the District’s bylaw?
In all fairness, why doesn’t the District of Sechelt confiscate or demolish the offending sign as they previously did to the business signs owned by George’s Roof Demossing in 2014?
The harsh action taken by the District of Sechelt against the owner of George’s Roof Demossing was nevertheless successfully defended in a British Columbia court of law in May 2015, so it would seem to be the expedient solution the District has for any problem with business signs.
