Re: “SCRD got us to Stage 4” (Editorial, Aug. 21).
Any seasoned manager worth his salt – including an editor – understands the adage, “you cannot manage unless you can measure.”
We should be grateful for the fact that the RD understood this and adopted “universal metering” as their objective for our water consumption.
It is important that this action included farming as well as drinking water.
Please let the RD know where your mythical “voluminous supply of fresh water” exists and I am sure they will be happy to tap into it.
The “Mill” may wish to share in it
as well!
