Why not Clowhom Lake?

Re: “SCRD to pursue $53-million reservoir,” Nov. 29.

So let me make sure I am reading this correctly: we are going to spend an estimated $53 million to build a reservoir that still can’t satisfy our supply needs when we have a huge reservoir at the end of Salmon Inlet called Clowhom Lake. Why don’t we just buy $25 million worth of pipe and solve the problem for good? I know by saying this I am making good sense, which most political minds don’t understand, but when you have to work for your money you tend to think logically.
