We are so lucky to have Salish Soils as a steward to our environment on the Sunshine Coast. Not only does Salish Soils take care of recycling and composting needs that can be dropped off at its facility; the people at Salish Soils often go beyond their mandate to provide growth to our community. Salish Soils responded to our request for soil for our garden at the Chatelech Secondary School Shine-On program. They delivered it that week for free right to our site. The students can now learn to grow their own vegetables and flowers. Thank you, Salish Soils, for all you do, especially behind the scenes.
