In response to “Breathing rights” by Kathy Morrant (Letters, March 16), I personally know the neighbour you speak of. I also know you’ve continually called the SCRD and RCMP about them over the past 10 years. Is it possible you are very much against marijuana and have wasted a lot of people’s time and money to be heard?
I would challenge any non-biased person to sniff around your property to see if they too can smell this “obnoxious” odour, but I fear the only odour would be the flatulence coming from your side of the fence.
I think the purpose of her letter is the continued harassment of her neighbour and their family, who by the way moved into their house the same year as Kathy, hardly making them “new folk.” Hopefully they will get to enjoy their “right” to the peaceful enjoyment of their property!
