My mother was a resident of Totem Lodge for two months until she passed away on Valentine’s Day. When a bed opened up for her at the Lodge, we were dismayed as that was not our first choice. Upon her passing, it became clear to us that she was exactly where she needed to be and this was because of the incredible care that Mom received during her stay. The staff at Totem need to be recognized for their level of care, which is delivered with compassion, respect and dignity for the residents. I am forever grateful.
