(It’s getting dangerous)
A quiet country road it was,
No longer such a thing because
More trucks and cars are on the Coast,
The quiet now is surely toast.
Tele-poles that need repair,
Private driveways here and there.
One-lane traffic sometimes needed,
Ferry schedule seldom heeded.
Leaving ferry, catching it,
Fear and loathing, road rage fit.
One O One’s on overload,
Do we need a better road?
