Just when we think the news can’t get any worse, it has. We are not only losing mammals, birds and even insects, we are losing our microbia biodiversity i.e. bacteria, archaea and fungi. If you don’t know what that is, you are not alone. It is all the microorganisms that keeps the soil aeirated and stuck together and breaks down dead plants and animals to create more food for plants and therefore, us. Dr. Anna Arsenault and Uli Hadeler are right, we need to stop destroying the organisms that are making life possible on this earth.
If we say “We have always done it this way” it is a clear indication of why we have to learn to do things differently. We have to stop poisoning the Earth. Even King Charles III agrees with me.
