Editor:
I am so pleased that our MP John Weston feels the need to feel fuzzy and warm about having his picture in the Coast Reporter regarding fisheries (Coast Reporter, July 19), when his government can close all government fisheries offices on our Coast and lay off the people who keep the public honest and help the local economy function, with good paying jobs.
No Mr. Weston, your government would rather cut the cost of fisheries, as it doesn't feel that it is a worthwhile endeavor.
Am I to believe that you are going back to Ottawa and demand that Prime Minister Stephen Harper opens our fisheries office?
I'm waiting
Harold Foster
