Am I wrong in starting to resent the constant whining whenever anyone wants to improve things on the Coast? The Coast has lived with three concrete batch plants in Gibsons and Sechelt with nary a complaint for decades. Now when someone wants to bring in a small state of the art, environmentally sensitive piece of kit, to produce high quality concrete in an existing gravel pit, the usual suspects kick off again. Frankly, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to buy high quality concreteat perhaps less than the exorbitant rates currently being charged. And yes, I'd love one in my back yard.
