As a Legion member, I read a recent letter to the editor online by Bruce Kiloh. I do not agree with your opinion about the Goldenhawk team being at the Sechelt Legion helping to raise money for the poppy fund.
My mother was a member of the Legion Auxiliary. My father served in the army and I had two brothers in the Second World War. They would be proud of their younger brother Randy Pierce and his Goldenhawk team honouring the RCAF Golden Hawks. They, with help from our RCMP forces, are raising money and awareness for the benefit of all Legions and veterans to fulfill a great need.
As far as I know, they did not interfere with Remembrance Day services.
