Thank you very much for your front-page coverage regarding the dangers of texting (Coast Reporter, April 3).
As a further resource, I recommend the 35-minute documentary From One Second to the Next, directed by Werner Herzog. This poignant film, available on Netflix, focuses on the catastrophic aftermath of four separate U.S. incidents involving texting and driving. I think that this film should be screened in schools and be viewed by anyone with a driver’s licence. Why not make it compulsory viewing for anyone getting a licence?
