Editorial missed the mark

Your reporting and editorializing (Coast Reporter, Feb. 10) on BC Timber Sales (BCTS) blocks on Mount Elphinstone overlooked two years of hard work by the Sunshine Coast Regional District planning department and BCTS as they work towards an accord which has the potential to create made on the Coast solutions to the sustainability questions posed by various individuals and groups.

When ongoing communications are left unreported, when people claim their views represent the mindset of the community, diligent scribes should view such omissions and absurdities skeptically, yet you blandly run with it and fan the flames of unnecessary conflict.

Tough reporting ferreting out facts which create provocative editorials I applaud, but the Feb. 10 article and editorial were just puerile pulp.
