Re: “South Coast Ford sign nixed by council,” Nov. 13.
Is there any way to find out the exact number of distracted-driver-related accidents that have been caused by the ever-changing sign outside the McDonald’s restaurant on Highway 101? I’m sure the mayor and council would be able to use this wealth of information in justifying their vilification of South Coast Ford’s sign on a much less travelled road. Maybe someone should remind the mayor and council about how dissatisfied citizens dealt with the group of egotists sitting in the chairs they currently occupy.
