Feb. 12 was the 206th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin.
We wish to thank the mayors and councils of the District of Sechelt and the Town of Gibsons for proclaiming Feb. 12 as Darwin Day. His work has made great contributions to the human understanding of our world and the universe we live in. That understanding led to and continues to lead to advances in technology, medicine and philosophy that effects all of us.
