Hunting bears should be illegal? (Coast Reporter letters July 3). Mr. Groom, hunting is part of our heritage and should always remain so. I'm not sure, but I can almost say with certainty that the persons who traffic in bear parts don't hunt with a licence.
Next, VisionQuest provides a needed service that we should embrace. It's not like the Coast doesn't have any persons who have gone to treatment in other communities.
Finally, when driving on the Coast, give yourselves lots of time. Take a pill and relax.
