It is interesting to note that despite a crane looming over Gibsons I have not heard a word of complaint about the new Soames Place development.
It will be four storeys high and will include 28 condos and four commercial units and it is well on its way to completion in Gibsons across from Sunnycrest Mall.
There are no protests, letters to the editor or complaints that I am aware of. Could that be because unlike the proposed George condo/hotel development, the Soames Place development is an appropriate size for the location and does not dominate the waterfront or possibly threaten the aquifer in a very sensitive area?
