“Bill C-23 undoubtedly contravenes the Charter of Rights,” said Pierre Lortie, chairman of the 1992 Royal Commission of electoral reform.

Through proroguing Parliament, omnibus bills, orchestrated press conferences, running away, and now the Elections Act amendments, the current government has shown its disdain for democracy and the Canadian people.

My perception of your towing the party line has reduced your credibility in my mind and in the minds of a lot of your constituents. Will your complacency be your political legacy?
